Welcome to our Web Home!

As we are continually trying to improve this site so please bear with us!2010 has & will see some big changes to our farm! Starting with our name.  'MDD' stands for One Mom, One Dad, & One Daughter embarking together in this amazing world of Exotic animals.

With the addition of Shetlands to our line of B size Miniature horses and despersal of our smaller A minis.  It was a very hard decision for Mom and I to make but it is our hope that it will allow us to improve and refine what we have always dreamed.

MDD Exotic ASPC/AMHR is a Daughter/Mother endeavor that began with a love for horse's that has grown with time into a wonderful adventure in the world of Miniature horse's and now Sheltands.  We like to think of our farm as the 'home of little horses with big hearts".  Where our goal is breeding correct, friendly horses that are as comfortable in a show ring, a smaller version of a refined classic action driving horse, in front of a buggy and yet still calls to you from the field just for the joy of seeing you in a back yard with those who love them.

I am a qualified ASPC/AMHR Steward.  I am looking to upgrade to "R" rating and am willing to travel anywhere and my prices are more than reasonable!  I believe that as a steward it is my job to make sure your show runs smoothly and is fair to everyone showing by making sure the rules are followed.

Dad's dream of 'Something Different' has resulted in the jump into the world of Alpaca's for us.  After 45 years working as an OPP officer and then in the local Court House Dad didnt want to just sit around when he retired.  Now with a herd of 18 alpaca's he is ready to start this new and interesting 'just for fun' job that guarentees no sitting around for any of us!

Of course if your going to have one exotic fleece you have to have others as well and with that we have purchased Jacob sheep and Angora goats to add to the products!  Once we have everyone sheard,  usually by end of May or mid June, we will have a wide selection of fleece products for sale so keep an eye on our 'Items for Sale' page.

Last but not least on the list of additions to our farm is the introduction of a herd of pygmy goats.  Coming in all colours and colour combinations these amazing little animals are the jokers of the farm.  It is a joy to watch them play and carry on.  There is always one or two willing to crawl onto a lap to make you feel warm and fuzzy.  With batted breath we wait each spring to see who will have how many and what they will look like!  Because we only breed once a year we have each spring a selection of new kids looking for homes.

Located in picturesque Northern Ontario, we can be found just outside the small town of Thornloe a community just out side the city of Temiskaming Shores.  Approximately two hours from north of North Bay, we are situated among some of the most beautiful dairy farms in the north, with flat green pastures surrounded by gently sloping mountains.

Our farm had been a life long dream for my parents and was purchased in 1984.  The farm's name "ROHEDEDACA" is a combination of our names (Ron, Heather, Debbie, Dawn, & Cassie).  We are blessed with 100 acres. Some flat open pastures & plenty of room for hay fields as well as a mixture of bush and gully's that give us a beautiful background and an abundance of wildlife.

The door is always open so please if you are ever up our way stop in and sit with us on Mom's wrap around porch!  We both love and welcome the company!!

Thank you for dropping in to our site, and I hope you enjoy your visit with us!
