We have a small herd of Pygmi goats here at MoonShadow/MDD. Every spring we have a select few kids born for sale. This year we have been blessed with 2 sets of twins and 3 singles, with one more doe to kid yet!
At present we have two female doelings for sale looking for homes the end of June.
The last of the babies have arrived! Daisy is the proud mum to twins a tiny little girl and boy! They will be ready for homes the end of July!

OUR ANGORA GOATS
Angora goats make up one of our exotic fleeces that we produce here on the farm. With a coat that grows up to one inch a month we shear our angoras twice a year.

FAINTING GOATS
One of those why?... lead to my sisters gifting me with a fainting doeling named "Hannah" who is the pet of the farm! Dad will tell you she is more a jumping then fainting goat as she will clear a 5 foot stall wall to come out and walk the barn ally way with me when doing chores! lol We do have a boyfriend for Hannah, but he has not yet arrived at the farm so watch for little fainters spring of 2011!!

Our third exotic fleece off the farm comes from our Jacob sheep. One of the oldest breeds of sheep in the world this 2, 4, or 6 horned sheep is thought to be the sheep mentioned in the old testment of the Bible! Jacob sheep are a black sheep with white spots and if you were to breed a Jacob to any other breed of sheep you are garenteed a black sheep!
